*sigh*

All vacations must end.  I SUPPOSE.

I just wanted to contact you to let you know how much I’ll miss your characters in This Must Be the Place. I love checking out new books and authors at our local library. I really enjoyed your novel. You made each of your characters come to life, I could easily see them in my mind’s eye. I especially liked the ending, while everything was neatly tied up, it wasn’t completely predictable. Please tell me you are working on another novel….

Congratulations Kate! I can’t wait to run right out and get your book. I grew up in Lyncourt and knew your Dad’s family well (your grandmother used to tell me she wanted me to marry Tom, who was in all my classes). It’s such an achievement to get a book published – you should be very proud of your accomplishment. And you were a natural on Bridge Street! I’m on the board of the Onondaga County Public Library so maybe we can entice you to do an event here sometime – another excuse to get those 210 fans at Barnes & Noble together again.

Well kate, this was a great read.
I wish you the best and will see you in Boston, hopefully in the fall.
Take care, and be safe.
love,
Aunt Roseann

SO pretty, Kate! And sorry that your vacation is almost over, but we’ll be glad to have you back in Massachusetts!

It’s always special when the camp girls are together!
