EVEN DANNY TORRANCE CAN’T BELIEVE I’M BLOGGING AGAIN. Which is completely fair.  The epic mash note I composed to my cat (xoxo Gomez 4-ever) was the first thing you saw when you stumbled upon my site for, what, the past nine months?  Ten?  I’ve come to realize that I am not much of a blogger.  OR MAYBE I was too busy writing other stuff, which brings us to the news. No, I didn’t kill anyone. Although…I guess I sort of did, through the magic of writing? (The murder magic of writing?) I wrote another book, a book where people die (or do they?) and/or are murdered (or ARE they?!); there are crushes and heartbreaks, femme fatales and shrewd detectives, massive snowstorms, and performances of some of the finest orchestral music known to man.  And I couldn’t be happier to announce that this very book, my second novel, has found a loving home at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt with the amazing Andrea Schulz! KERMIT FLAIL OF EXTREME HAPPINESS!!!! It’s a tale of mystery and mayhem, harmonies and hormones, set at a beautiful corpse of a hotel in the Catskills during a retreat for teenage musicians.
